On
Friday when I showed up for work I saw this.
It's a Female Prison Guard's uniform. Hmm
...and it's got handcuffs and "easy-open"
buttons. Hehehe! Something's up. Go figure! :P |

The bakery sent me this gift. It's very thoughtful
of them
...especially since it came with the week's
invoice. Hahaha! Nice! |

And
this is from my former sidekick, who now works
here. It was kind'a hot so I started
drinking it. There's nothing like cool white
wine while working the grill. He was shocked
though 'coz strictly speaking alcohol should not
be consumed at any workplace. But Chefs do it
all the time! Hehehe! I
guess I can get away with it because since I
sweat a lot the alcohol doesn't last long enough
in my system to make me tipsy. It is actually
considered as a necessity in some hot kitchens,
like morning coffee. But if you hardly sweat at
your job then you definitely shouldn't drink at
all. Hehehe! |

Sunday, the 31st. It's the end of another year
and my last day in this kitchen. Time flies! I
had a lot of fun and of course there were also
moments that I'd rather forget. Hehehe! |

Well, I guess it's time to move on. Another entry in
my resume and as always I learned a lot and made
heaps of friends. (I pissed off a lot of people too!
Hehehe!) I had a lot of fun and I also made it
through some pretty ugly moments. Hmm... it all
seems fair, doesn't it?
So where to now?
I already made a few plans, but I really won't get
into details. At least not online. Hehehe! One
thing's for sure though, I'll be taking some time
off and I'll try my best to make the most of it.
Well... I'll try. It's been a long time since I had
a proper vacation. I dunno how, or where to start!
Although a lot of you will agree, the best thing
about a hiatus from work is not what you can do with
your spare time... but what you don't have to do.
Like... not feeling guilty for sleeping in. Don't
you all agree?! :)
